Maharishi Mahesh Yogi lectured at Harvard in 1968, delivering a talk at the Harvard Law School Forum to an overflow crowd. He also lectured at Yale in 1966. His visits were part of his national tour to promote Transcendental Meditation, and he engaged with various scholars on topics ranging from science to philosophy.

In June 1968 (not 1969), Maharishi Mahesh Yogi led a Transcendental Meditation course at Lake Louise, Canada, which was filmed by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) for a documentary. During the filming, he walked by the lake and used the scenery as a metaphor to explain his teachings on the inner nature of life, how meditation can dissolve stress, and how it helps people to access their inner potential.
